I am a true coffee snob,(have my own Italian machine at home) so first off the coffee bean roasts are simply the best. The roaster master, Gary has his skill down pat and produces an exceptional blend everytime. But more than that, this little gem of a café has great staff all who can produce the perfect cup,the atmosphere is so friendly.great start to the day, pick up the mail, a shot or 2, and the next week's supply of beans! Along with a great chat. The atmosphere is truly a mix of vibe and calm. I love this place, the staff and their produce so much, when I moved away to another state, I still get my order of beans posted to me. From order to delivery is 3 days! Their beans blend is excellent and the roast dates always, always just exact timing for my next cup.

I just love it! I travel between Adelaide and Tugun regularly. A Bastion Lane coffee/Gary visit is always on my ‘must do’ list. Love the energy and creativity of Gary and his team, and so much more. It’s such a ‘find’. Always I take my Tugun visitors to Uki - I check the opening hours and then head south westwards. What a treat after the spectacular drive through the Tweed Valley beneath Wollumbin. For me it’s a latte with full cream milk. And I leave with a bag of Gary’s roasted half-caff coffee beans.

This cafe has created an amazing hub for our Uki Village. The coffee is top shelf and delivered with pride, surrounded by beautiful artwork and in a heritage building. What more could you want.

What’s not to love? Get my morning java, the best I might add, great friendly service, fabulous music in the background and I get all my post office needs dealt with in one place. Also, local artists are well supported here are they can exhibit their works on the “art post” wall. Everyone should visit if they are in the Northern Rivers.
